DRAIN STORM - SEWER CITY

Oh fliiiiiip. I loved this game so much. It took a while to find out how much narrative was there, but once you got it, you were completely sucked in.

I kind of take issue with people who get all patronizing about actors who complain about their lives. The number of horrible, irrevocable life choices a person would have to make in order to headline in a major motion picture will never be asuaged by any amount of money.

I don’t have much money, but I live a relatively normal life with nearly no actor’s guilt. And if people started confusing me for a fictional character, that would be kind of distressing. Daniel Radcliffe’s life should be about balanced with mine, considering the good and bad he’ll have experienced in his career….

I’d genuinely love to take a crack at a pro-cyborg story in Doctor Who, if only to contrast it against mainstays like the Cybermen. In big sci-fi franchises (Doctor Who, Star Trek, etc) people with prostheses are almost universally portrayed as evil or at least individuals who desperately want to get back to “normal.” I think this is a dated perspective in the context of modern society and technology.  However, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to write a Doctor Who episode, as it’s unlikely Tom Baker will come out of retirement.
I do have a few more articles in the works, but unfortunately I just haven’t had the time. Dark Science and the business surrounding Dresden Codak have taken up more of my time than usual. New articles are on the way though!
